Herbal Preperation
Add 1 table spoon of herb to around 1/2 a litre of spring water ( NOT TAP WATER ) to a stainless steel pan and bring to the boil for 15-20 minutes ( YOU MAY NEED TO ADD MORE WATER ) then allow to cool allowing more infusion of the herb into the water. Once cooled, strain the herb and dispose of it, keep the liquid this will be given to your dog/cat and can be stored in a glass jar in the fridge for around 4 days.
We highly recommend using bone broth alongside your herbal tea’s. Since the herbs can be quite bitter, bone broth’s are a tasty addition to encourage your dog to consume the tea. We recommend starting with 50/50 mixture of bone broth to tea ratio, however you can increase the broth as needed if your dog wont consume it.
