We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Mayflower Animal Sanctuary in Bawtry!
Mayflower Animal Sanctuary is a shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats. Established in 2003, the sanctuary has helped over 500 dogs and 200 cats find new homes each year. In 2023 alone, their veterinary expenses totalled £97,375.
Their vision includes a future where all pets are provided with a responsible and loving home for life. They want to ensure each animal has both their emotional and physical needs met through a suitable environment and diet, to exhibit good behaviour and protect them from pain and suffering.
Here at sure4pets, we believe every pet deserves a loving home and a suitable diet, which is why we are excited to share our trip to this sanctuary.
Our time at Mayflower Animal Sanctuary
Here, we were warmly welcomed by the wonderful Aaron, the dedicated manager of the shelter’s feline residents. Aaron gave us a tour, introducing us to the charming cats who call the sanctuary home. We even had the chance to treat them to some of our favourite sure4pets goodies!
We’re excited to announce our new partnership with Mayflower Cat Sanctuary! As a partner, we asked our customers to help and donate essential supplies and food to support their cats in need. These contributions will help feed the cats and kittens over the coming weeks and provide them with a cosier, warmer shelter as winter approaches.
All kinds of donations are welcome, whether it’s wet or dry food, tasty treats, cosy blankets, litter, or anything else you can spare! Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated.
All donations will be delivered directly to Mayflower!
