Our day old Turkey chicks are as fresh as they come and sourced locally in the UK. Due to being whole and in line with biochemistry they are a complete food providing around 102 minerals to help strengthen the body at the cellular level and are balanced naturally between meat, bone and offal.
Day old chicks are what we class as whole prey which is the best way to provide a complete diet known as the SARF™ Species-Appropriate Raw Food diet, they make an ideal raw snack or treat for dogs and can be a small meal for some cats as well as dogs. Our day old Turkey chicks are a particularly great natural food source for reptiles and birds of prey.
Our day old turkey chicks come from certified hatcheries they are euthanised using a method that is recognised by the RSPCA Freedom foods as the most humane available when awarded the Allstair Mease Award for improvements in Animal Welfare 2000. The chicks are then chilled as an integral process, boxed and within hours blast frozen.
