Our whole chicken heart chunks are great for DIY but also make for an ideal treat, you can cut them into smaller pieces and use as raw treats, or if you have a dehydrator, make your own natural air dried treats. As heart is muscle meat it’s also great to add as meat only to your dogs complete minces should you need to reduce their bone content. Heart provides thiamine, zinc, copper, manganese, vitamin A,C, B6, B12, riboflavin, niacin, folate, pantothenic acid, phosphorus, selenium and is also low in sodium. Heart is also rich in taurine, making it an natural ideal supplement for cats that are fed a minced raw diet, cats are designed by nature to eat animals whole and fresh proving high levels of taurine, the mincing process reduces the amount of taurine.
A great complimentary feed that should be fed as part of a balanced DIY diet or as a treat.
