Turkey is loaded with Selenium which plays an important role in the health of the immune system. Studies have demonstrated that increased blood levels of selenium are associated with enhanced immune response. Zinc needed for the senses of smell and taste and phosphorus which is essential for healthy bones contains Magnesium & Potassium which support the brain and nerves, phosphorus, essential for healthy bones and Zinc required for all organs tissues, fluids and secretions. Tripe is (unwashed/unbleached) Meaning it’s packed with trillions of good bacteria so is great for helping to build/boost immunity, it also has the perfect ratio of Calcium to Phosphorus – 1:1 which is the perfect ratio for bone development, growth and structure, this combination makes it ideal for growing puppies. Tripe also contains Magnesium and Potassium which are essential for a healthy brain, nerve function and muscular tissues. It is naturally low in Phosphorus (0.13%) making it ideal for dogs with liver and kidney problems.
