Duck is rich in minerals such as Selenium which important as it play a role in the health of the immune system. This antioxidant helps lower oxidative stress in the body, which reduces inflammation and enhances immunity. Studies have demonstrated that increased blood levels of selenium are associated with enhanced immune response, its also high in Phosphorus which is essential for healthy bones. Iron, essential as it cleans the blood, and as its the only magnetic mineral it also carries oxygen and any other minerals to the cells that make up the physical body. Zinc, actually found in cells throughout the body and is needed for the body’s defensive (immune) system to properly work. It plays a role in cell division, cell growth and wound healing, zinc is also needed for the senses of smell and taste and Copper enabling the body to form red blood cells. It helps maintain healthy bones, blood vessels, nerves, and immune function.
Tripe is (unwashed/unbleached) meaning it’s packed with trillions of good bacteria so is great for helping to build/boost immunity, it also has the perfect ratio of Calcium to Phosphorus – 1:1 which is the perfect ratio for bone development, growth and structure, this combination makes it ideal for growing puppies. Tripe also contains Magnesium and Potassium which are essential for a healthy brain, nerve function and muscular tissues. It is naturally low in Phosphorus (0.13%) making it ideal for dogs with liver and kidney problems
